DRIP RAIL RENDER(1)_edited.jpg

DRIP FLASHING

A drip flashing is installed at the bottom of a wall sheet to prevent water from entering the building by directing it away from the concrete base or block-work. The back leg of the drip flashing can be adjusted to align with the bottom purlin, creating a level shelf that holds the wall sheet at the correct height before it’s secured to the side rails. If the bottom purlin sits too high on the wall, the drip flashing can be attached directly to the bottom of the wall sheet instead.

The standard drip rail, as shown in the technical drawing, is optimised for Befab single-skin sheeting. For installations using insulated panels, the base of the drip flashing must be increased in size. Like all Befab flashings, this profile is fully customisable to suit specific project requirements and is available in lengths up to 6 meters.
